Name : Shirley Masemola
Topic : “Treating Trauma in the South African context”
Shirley Masemola, is a Registered Counsellor, registered with HPCSA and BHF running a private practice. She received her honours in Psychology specialising in trauma in 2010 with Midrand Graduate Institute now know as Persons Institute. She has been awarded a certificate for completing the Sixteen Personality Factor test(16PF) training. She is also a qualified fatigue management specialist. She has been working in the employee wellness industry with different roles and responsibilities, as a managerial consultant, Executive health and care consultant, and case manager. She is currently working for PHS as a Client relations and case manager.
As a consultant in the Employee Health and Wellness industry, she has gained valuable industry knowledge and insights which have developed her into a well-rounded practitioner. She has facilitated workshops and trainings on different topics ranging from stress management, stress and resilience in the work place, substance abuse and mental health to name a few. She has facilitated trauma debriefing sessions and workshops for different client companies.

Topic : “Personal financial freedom”
A Fort-Beaufort born professional, accounting and business management graduate, he served his articles with an audit firm to become a qualified accountant. However, at the end of the articles contract, he found himself taking a different route of corporate financial management career, which he started at Eskom in the mid-90’s.
His journey of acquiring as much knowledge as possible about how one could achieve FINANCIAL FREEDOM, led him to over 100 books, both hard copy and digital, as well as over 50 audio-visual recordings on this subject. He also attended dozens of seminars and training workshops on the subject.
