EAPA-SA Embraces Online Learning

The bar has been set very high by EAPA-SA as the Association keeps pace with the times, overcoming the coronavirus lockdown restriction on events by creating EduWeb, an online education portal through which a valuable programme of online seminars will be presented for the remainder of 2020 and beyond. Over 180 members attended the inaugural seminar on 21st August and EAPA-SA received excellent ratings in the post-seminar member survey. The Seminar presented  by specialist Carol Venter on addiction and substance abuse was a resounding success. The Programme Director was  EAPA-SA President, Thiloshni Govender who thanked the EduWeb organising committee, event coordinator, EnOv8, and the EAPA-SA Board for their part in making this exciting online seminar programme a reality.

EAPA-SA has been awarded one CPD point for each seminar by the SACSSP for the  EduWeb online education programme.  As a body that is recognised by SAQA, the Association is very excited to announce the launch of EAPA-SA CPD points in 2020.  These CPD points are recognised by the HPCSA and will also become compulsory for the renewal of your EAPA-SA membership. 

Attendance and CPD Certificates will be sent to attendees by email who can choose to receive a certificate per seminar or for one certificate to be sent to them at the end of the year for all EduWeb seminars attended in 2020. 

Upcoming EduWeb seminars

Attendance has a limit, so sign up for upcoming EduWeb seminars, to avoid missing out – we have an amazing lineup of speakers. We have also made group bookings possible and you are able to book your place for the Seminars until the end of the year, and get one quote or invoice. The seminars have a small fee attached – please plan ahead to make payment online and on time, or to arrange with your employers to process the payment beforehand. EAPA-SA has kept the cost of our seminars low to make them accessible to all and offer you a range of payment options. You can pay for seminars on the EAPA-SA website with your credit or debit card and can request an upfront quote as well.
