EAPA-SA proudly congratulates all cyclists who participated in the 40th edition of 2026 AmaShova Cycle Race, held on 19 July 2026, from Pietermaritzburg to Durban. The challenging 106 km route tested participants’ endurance, determination and commitment to a healthy lifestyle.

Among the riders was Ndumiso Hlongwa, EAPA-SA’s KwaZulu-Natal Chapter Chairperson, who successfully took on the demanding course. As an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) practitioner, Ndumiso continues to demonstrate the importance of wellness, resilience, and work-life balance by truly walking the talk. His participation reflects the values that EA professionals promote every day: physical wellbeing, mental strength, and personal growth.

The AmaShova race is more than a cycling event. By participating, cyclists inspire others to embrace healthy lifestyles and pursue their wellness goals. EAPA-SA extends its heartfelt congratulations to Ndumiso and every participant who completed this remarkable event. Your dedication serves as an inspiration and reinforces the message that wellness is not only advocated but actively lived.

Well done to all riders on this outstanding achievement!
