Thabo Silvester Monyatsi

Thabo Silvester Monyatsi is a psychologist based in Bloemfontein, Free State, South Africa. He serves as a psychologist in academic support at the Central University of Technology (CUT), contributing to student wellness initiatives. In January 2025, he presented at the South African Association of Campus Health Services (SAACHS) Annual Conference. His presentation, titled "Academic Exclusion and Mental Health Challenges: A Case Study of the Central University of Technology, aimed to identify causes, analyse consequences, and propose solutions to increase inclusivity and mental health support for students facing academic exclusions and mental health difficulties.

Monyatsi is also an accredited mediator and a member of the Social Justice Family Mediators (SJFAM). He currently started writing research article on Mediation and Therapeutic Law, as well as mediation in black communities. His latest PhD research is in the Application of Therapeutic Law in Mediation of sexual offences and domestic violence cases.
Previously, Monyatsi conducted research on the needs of participants in the Khulisa Diversion Programme, focusing on juvenile delinquency and rehabilitation. This MA Dissertation explored how the Khulisa programme met the basic needs of its participants, contributing to the field of counselling psychology.
Additionally, he has been involved in discussions in newspaper articles and magazines on social issues, such as providing insights on the challenges faced by black children coming out as gay. His work emphasizes the importance of open communication and understanding within families, As well as radio and Television presentations on learner challenges and men`s mental health. His recent research developments are on PhD research proposal in Social Psychology and training of Educators, research proposal on the effectiveness of a drug rehab programme, 2025 conference presentations on Therapeutic Law and Mediation as well as on Psychological Foundations of Literacy Development, A Book entitled “ The Dance” addressing multiple divorcee`s experiences, development of board games on couples and family communication.

Nthabeleng Mahale is a seasoned counseling professional with over a decade of experience in counseling, coaching, and training. She is a certified Logotherapist who teaches Logotherapy in Israel and Serbia, specializing in meaning-centered approaches to mental well-being.
Nthabeleng has spent over eight years working within Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), supporting organizations in fostering employee wellness and resilience. Her expertise lies in guiding individuals and teams through personal and professional challenges, with a particular focus on mental health advocacy in the workplace. She does this effectively as a Client Relationship Manager at Momentum Metropolitan Health.

In her private practice, she integrates spiritual healing, counseling, Logotherapy and coaching to provide holistic well-being solutions. Her passion for mental health extends to supporting employees navigating conditions such as Bipolar Mood Disorder, ensuring they receive the right support to thrive in their work environments. Nthabeleng is also a seasoned speaker, having shared insights on mental health and workplace wellness at the Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA) South Africa, Corporate companies such as Flour, and training institutions like Viktor Frankl Institute of Logotherapy Israel and Viktor Frankl Institute of Logotherapy Serbia.
