Dibuseng Khunwane brings 17 years of extensive experience in Employee Health and Wellness. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Venda and a master’s degree in social work and MA degree in Social Work Supervision from the University of South Africa.

Throughout her career, she has undertaken various roles, including Social Worker, EA Practitioner, Assistant Director of Employee Health and Wellness, and currently serves as the Deputy Director of Employee Health and Wellness. Dibuseng is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of individuals and organizations, having actively participated in numerous programs aimed at empowering individuals and fostering the growth and development of EA practitioners in the North West province.

Her passion for training and development is evident in her commitment to empowerment. Her diverse roles within government have equipped her with valuable skills in program and project design, implementation, monitoring, research, governance, policy development, facilitation, education and awareness initiatives, as well as counselling and motivation.

In her current position, Dibuseng continues to exert a positive influence, focusing on policy formulation, empowerment, departmental coordination, and monitoring the implementation of EHW strategic framework and guiding policies. She approaches her responsibilities with grace, enthusiasm, and determination.

Dibuseng served as an executive member of the Jacaranda Chapter from 2012 to 2014 and is a founding member of the Platinum Chapter, where she has been active since 2014. She diligently advocates for change and strives to enhance and sustain the chapter, demonstrating her commitment to the advancement of EA practitioners in the North West.

EAPA-SA Platinum Chapter Dates for 2025

14th June 2024 Social Responsibility Outreach

Platinum Chapter conducted our Outreach / Social Responsibility/CSI Project together with Liberty last week Friday 14 June 2024 at Re -e- lwele Primary School in Broederstroom.
66 pairs of school shoes were donated to Disadvantaged Learners. Stakeholders present were Department of Education Head Office, MEC’s Office and Managers from the Department of Education District Office, Liberty, The Principal Mr. Motlhamme, and Platinum Exco members.
The joy this brought to all parties involved, and not only the deserving children, is immeasurable. A big thank you to all our stakeholders.

26th April 2024 Mental Health in the Workplace Workshop

Platinum Chapter had a CPD Accredited Workshop on 26 April 2024 at Magaliesburg, Mount Grace Hotel.

Mr T Matsoso from Department of Health gave a presentation on Mental Health in the Workplace and shared the presentation with members.
Ms SM Mokori presented the 2024 Operational Plan Members.

Liberty have sponsored the whole Event: Venue, Catering, Name Tags and Health Screening. Members Contributed R100 for the workshop but was not spent.

A suggestion box was also availed to members for Topics Suggestion and Evaluation of the session as a whole. The feedback is very positive, members were very happy and appreciative of the Workshop.

Debriefing and Relaxation Exercises was also offered by Platinum Chapter Member Mr. T Ntshehi Health Screening for Members was conducted by CANSA and are as follows:
