EAPA-SA PRESIDENT

Radhi Vandayar

Radhi is a passionate people engagement professional that owns a Training and Coaching consultancy. She is also the People Engagement Strategic Consultant at HLC where she is looking at marrying EAP and wellness initiatives with technology platforms and content to make it more accessible and relevant to the changing work landscape. One of her other roles is MBA mentor/academic tutor at Henley business school for their MBA students coaching them on approach to assignments and work /study integration. As an Alumni of Henley, she wants to be part of their journey in building better business in Africa through our people. Then she was elected to the post of President of the EAPA SA Board in 2023. She has served on the board for the last 18 years in various other roles. She is passionate about people development and therefore works within the Human Capital space as a consultant on employee wellness and for the last 25 years. Her previous position at ICAS (Lyra now) as Strategic L&D Manager has exposed her to several industries that has developed her vast experience in people engagement and wellbeing interventions. She has previously contributed to the EAPA International journal twice over the last 10 years. She has presented at many local and international seminars and conferences on topics related to the Employee Wellness field. In the last few years has contributed to a chapter in a book on mental health in the workplace regarding employee support programmes as a reaction to COVID in SA work context (which launched in November 2021 by Knowledge & Resources Publishers).

 

Qualifications:

  • BA Social Work Honors (University of Witwatersrand)
  • MBA (Henley Business School-University of Reading)
  • Professional Certificate in Coaching (PCIC)- Henley Business School
  • PROSCI Facilitator for Change Management

 

Portfolio Responsibilities:

  • To facilitate the development of EAPA-SA strategy, policies and procedure guidelines.
  • To oversee the implementation of EAPA-SA Programmes and projects in line with plans.

 

Portfolio Goal:

  • To provide strategic direction to the EAPA-SA Board and chapters.
