EAPA-SA and Chevron collaboration worth $(US)7,500.00

The extensive work that EAPA-SA is doing for the profession has not gone unnoticed. Chevron recently dug deep in their pockets and donated $(US)7,500.00 towards the development of an Employee Assistance Professional infrastructure and local professional resources development beyond South Africa. The Association intends to engage with EA professionals in Africa to strengthen working relations, share experiences and expand EAPA-SA to our neighbouring countries in line with the Government’s NEPAD initiatives. The donation is also considered as seed money to encourage other organisations which are active in Africa to join this vision in creating and / or developing the EAP community in Africa.

EAPA-SA president Mr Kelly Phumzile Manzini was quoted saying: “The donation will go a long way in putting EAPA-SA on the African and International map and in strengthening professional relations with Chevron and other companies that support our vision. The donation will be put to good use”. He also thanked Chevron for the trust and confidence that they have shown to the Association.
