Thank you for your interest in registering with EAPA-SA (either as an Individual or Service Provider). Please take the time to read this article before registering with EAPA-SA as this article will ensure that you complete the form correctly as well as answering any questions you may have. This article is broken into various headings, so as to aid you in your application.
Categories of Membership
There are two broad categories of membership with EAPA-SA. Individual membership is for those professionals/practitioners involved in the field of employee assistance/wellness and other related fields through their means of employment.
Service Provider membership is reserved for organisations/companies/departments/consultants in the field of employee assistance/wellness who offer consulting services. This particular category is further divided into those organisations/companies/departments/consultants who offer what would be considered othodox employee assistance/wellness services (EAP Service Providers) and those who offer services related to employee assistance/wellness (EAP Related Service Providers).
Cost of Membership
Individual membership - R400.00 per annum
Service Provider membership - R1200.00 per annum
Period of Membership
The period of membership for both Individuals and Service Providers is 12 months (1 year) from the month of registration. This would mean that once membership has been approved and processed (e.g. January 2010) that specific membership would expire after 12 months (e.g. January 2011).
Benefits of Membership
Becoming a member of EAPA-SA has several benefits for Individuals and Service Providers alike. Certain benefits are shared by both Individuals and Service Providers while certain benefits pertain only to that membership category.
The follownig is a list of benefits experienced by both Individual and Service Provider members:
- Coming soon: Access to an international journal;
- Updates in the world of employee assistance/wellness;
- Updates about the annual EAPA-SA Conferences;
- Member only forums to discuss matters in the world of employee assistance/wellness;
- Voting rights during the EAPA-SA Annual General Meeting;
The following are benefits exclusive to Service Provider members:
- Posting of your company's logo on the EAPA-SA website with a link to your company's website;
- Free posting of job vacancies on our website for posts in your company.
Process of Registering
Having read this form, please follow the relevant application link (on the left under 'Membership') and complete the form, following the instructions under each category. Once you have completed the form, please ensure that you send through proof of payment (via the stated methods). Your membership application will only be processed and your account activated once proof of payment has been received.
